Registration for 2015 Race Now Open!
We invite you to participate in one of the Midwest’s premier half marathons. This is the only race where you can immerse yourself in Lincoln history and enjoy a scenic run past the only home he ever owned, his law office, the Old State Capitol where he delivered his “House Divided” speech, and his final resting place in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
The USATF certified course starts at Lincoln’s Presidential Library and Museum, which critics have described as “spectacular,” and “simply magnificent.” The Lincoln sites and Springfield’s hospitality make this a destination race for the whole family. View USATF course map

As in past years, electronic tag timing will be used. New for this year is that each finisher will get a laser-printed receipt that shows their race time, with splits.
There will great post-race food and fun, and all finishers will receive our famous Giant Penny finisher’s medal and an opportunity to have their picture taken with Lincoln impersonator Michael Krebs.
After the race, join President Lincoln and other participants at the Alamo for more food and drink.
